Ram Rodder's Show "n" Shine 2019 (Mopars and Others).

Probably my favourite Mopar, a 1970 Dodge Super Bee with 383 cubic inches of grunt.
The similar offering from Plymouth was the Road Runner, this one also a 1970 and 383 cubes.
'75 Chrysler Valiant Regal Hardtop was a very Aussie car, with its Australian designed hemi six.

The Chrysler Valiant Charger was also a special car. Being developed and built in Australia, it was like no other Mopar anywhere else in the world.
This one is powered by the 318 V8.

2005 Chrysler 300C. I've always liked these, nothing else looks quite like them.

'66 Plymouth Fury is not often seen as a 4 door sedan in NZ.
There is some resemblance to Australian Valiants from certain angles.
Just like the previously shown Valiant Charger, it is 318 powered.

1960 Dodge 100 is a change from Ford F100s and Chevy C10s.

The fire service also had a display with these Scanias from out of town.

Mopar shares its space with a couple of Fords and a GM.

Tidy Norton Commando 850.
I rode one of these many years ago and at the time I wasn't that impressed. Although it was light to handle, I felt I was sitting on top of it rather than "in" it and its straight line stability didn't seem as stable as the 900 Kawasaki I owned at that time.

1937 Indian Scout 750 is probably a little too much before my time.

Nice paint on this Victory, but not really my cup of tea, but I have to confess I've never ridden one.

Ram Rodder's Show 'n' Shine 2019 (GM).

The big blunt front of an '84 GMC Sierra.

1938 Chevy Sedan Delivery is much modified.

Well presented '69 Chevrolet Caprice 427.

Two '63 GMs.

'39 Chevy Coupe belongs to the Ram Rodder's President.

And another.

One of Holden's most popular models, the EH.

'56 Cadillac is huge for a 2 door car and...

...'59 Cadillac is "huger"!
2016 Corvette looks more European than American.

Big Cadillac sedans can look quite ominous in black, but to me a white one looks just right.

Original '69 Holden 186.

'94 Chevy C1500 has a multitude of headlamps.

Not many 1960 Corvettes around.

Chevy Nova doesn't have the stylish lines of most other GM models.

1957  Chevy Two Ten Townsman is a rarity.

'56 Chevy has a glittering paint job.

Ram Rodder's Show 'n' Shine 2019 (Ford)

Fathers' Day (1st september) was time again for the Wairarapa's Ram Rodder's annual show 'n' shine.
'46 Ford V8 Coupe.

1965 Ford Mustang convertible.

'47 Ford Coupe and...

...another Ford Coupe from 10 years earlier.

My favourite Falcon body style. Not sure if this is a genuine GTHO or replica.

'68 Mustang 220 ci 6 cylinder.

Another Mustang convertible, this time a later model.

Single spinner Ford sedan from 1950.

Galaxie and Thunderbird

Very nice little Ford "Pop", but I'm not sure what powers it.

Big red Roush Mustang.

'67 Mercury Monterey 390.

I like the American pick ups of this era.
1964 Ford F100.

'36 Ford is just how I like a hot rod.
Standard appearance with lowering and fat tyres.

Probably my favourite American car in NZ.
1966 Ford Country Squire.

Stock standard '65 Mustang with the 170 cubic inch, six.

Very clean '59 Fairlane 292 cid.

Ford never made at ute of the Zephyr Mk 3, but this one is a superb conversion.

Tui Brewery Holden Vs Ford 2019 (6).

1963 Fairlane is cool as a two door.

'84 Fairmont rolls out with big gold wheels.

Ford Cortina Mk 4 estates were once plentiful on our roads and were often the choice of sales reps.
This is a 1981 model.

'72 HQ Holden has a rego plate that suggests something special.....

....a look under the bonnet confirms my suspicions.

'79 Falcon V8.

2016 Holden Commodore VF 2 SSV Redline.
6.2 litre a 6 speed auto and I love the colour.

Not my favourite model of Mustang, but still a lot nicer than the Fox body models.

It's surprising how many Toranas are around.
They all come out of the woodwork at an event like this.

All painted up and ready to race.

Ford got it right when they styled the F100 of this era.

Squat Chevy outside the event....

...and a Bonneville.
